The Celestials of Atollamu.
Celestials are a term that refers to the deities of the Atollamu setting. The creation myth of Atollamu states that the Celestials found the world of Atollamu when it was nought but a chunk of rock floating in a sea of black. Wanting to create something worthy of their power, the Celestials each poured some of themselves into the world to create it.
Toshka, god of fire, dragons, and time, gave the world these gifts. Time began in the world, the sun was created in the sky, fire began to boil in the ground, causing it to rise up and become a landscape, and dragons were created on the face of the earth to be the planet's sacred guardians. He taught the people of the world to value history, and know that their days are numbered.
Kyra, goddess of nature, animals, and the elements, created the blue skies, and the rest of nature. Her gift brought rain to the ground, making vegetation grow, as well as creating animals to inhabit the wild spaces. She taught the sentient races to respect nature's wrath, and enjoy her bounties.
Zoltar, god of commerce, honesty, and cities, created the dwarves. He gifted them with the ability to carve stone and forge metal, and they created the first cities underground. He taught stewardship and common sense to the sentient races.
Juliar, god of wisdom, logic, and magic, created the elves. He gifted them with a natural affinity for magic, as well as long years to ponder his infinite mysteries. He taught his followers to seek hard after the truth, and to love knowledge.
Arkon, god of burial, balance, and seasons, added seasons to Kyra's nature, shepherded lost souls in the void, and taught the races of the world that death is part of life, and to honor the restful dead. It is said that he is the little brother of Toshka, as time and the grave go hand in hand.
Beldandy, goddess of art, beauty, and pleasure, created the gnomes. Their wild curiosity and passion for life is her gift, as are the mechanical and artistic innovations that they have wrought as a culture. She taught the races of the world the value of beauty, and of art, and is the most fickle of the gods, her likes and dislikes varying with the tide.
Albain, god of valor, legacy, and ambition, took Toshka's dragons and gave their offspring anthromorphic form, creating the dragonborn. He gave them bravery, pride, and courage, and taught the races of the world to be bold in the face of danger.
Sten, god of mercy, justice, and luck, created the halflings. Their natural cheerfulness and incredible fortune are his gifts to them. He taught the people of the world the value of justice, tempered with mercy, and to see good fortune in every event.
Lastly, Maya, goddess of love, determination, and family, created the humans. Their prodigious growth and great capacity for choice are her gifts to them. She taught the sentient races the value of loving one's friends, family, and the love that all beings should show one another.
When they were finished, the Celestials looked on their new world, and saw that it was indeed worthy. They called it Atollamu, which in the First Tongue means, "Home of my Heart".

The Celestials have many legends and proverbs attached to them, too many to list here. So, clerics of the Celestials codified a set of Ten Edicts that represent their core tenets, listed below.
